Lesson Number 8

Dear seeker of the truth,

No children were born in Paradise; hence, children's Paradise is on Earth.

Moreover, children carry their own Paradise. We must not destroy this Paradise but care for and grow it into a Garden of Happiness.

Children are the purest virtue in the human world. No one, under any circumstances, should hurt a child. Children are exempt from hate, politics, racial hate, and religion. Every child deserves a joyful childhood and education. No child is guilty of their parents' sins. Children have no race, nationality, no country, no religion, no symbols to follow, no traumas, no fear, no beliefs, no borders, nothing that their parents later fed them with.

Children are the most precious jewels every adult human must treasure, love and protect.

Children carry no sin, nor guilt, nor suspicion of anything.

Children know no malice, mistrust no one, and wonder about everything. If you are a religious man, regardless of what faith you follow, see your God in every child. And act and interact with every one of them as you would love God to act and interact with you, for to the eyes of God, you are a child.

This excerpt from Dorothy Law Nolte (Born January 12, 1924 – Died November 6, 2005) is a reminder to every adult.

If a child lives with criticism, he learns to condemn.

If a child lives with hostility, he learns to fight.

If a child lives with ridicule, he learns to be shy.

If a child lives with shame, he learns to feel guilty.

If a child lives with tolerance, he learns to be patient.

If a child lives with encouragement, he learns confidence.

If a child lives with praise, he learns to appreciate it.

If a child lives with fairness, he learns justice.

If a child lives with security, he learns to have faith.

If a child lives with approval, he learns to like himself.

If a child lives with acceptance and friendship, he learns to find love in the world.

The world's future is in their little hands; we must warm their souls with the warmth of love, not burn them with the fire of hate.
