Reflections on the last day of the year 2025.

Dear friend,

Say that life is a whole. One hundred years = 100%, so I divide life into four quarters.

I know that to reach 100 is the exception. Anyhow, let's continue.

I say that life divides into quarters. 25 years each. So, most adults in our LinkedIn family had already lived two quarters of their lives, some are on the third, and a few are in the fourth.

As I said, some people reach their fourth and final, which is past 75. It's a fact that few people complete the four quarters.

So life goes from 1 to 25, and everything that happens in those years. Memories, anyone? From childhood, from elementary or high school, first love, first job, marriage?

Then, from 25 to 50, and everything that happens in those years. Same questions as above.

And then from 50 to 75, which I'm finishing now. Same questions as above.

And finally, from 75 to 100, which, as I said, most never reach and stop in one of those years. So, I would say from 75+ and then?

There is a lot more to say, but those who are now in the first quarter of their lives have a chance to gain a better perspective on their lives.

Food for thought on how we distribute our lives, and how we place our pieces on the life's chessboard.

Thank you for reading and following my posts. I’m grateful for your time, and comments.

Happy New Year 2026 to all!
