Dweller In Hope

Hello, my friend.  I’m pleased to share my new poem with you.  The poem invites you to meditate on the greatness that surrounds you and on your relationship with the divine.  I hope that your meditation elevates you to a close relation with the extraordinary and the natural in which we dwell.

Peace and love.

Dweller In Hope

(A poem by Sal Godoij.)

Oh, Father, you who inhabit the universe

And the Earth entire

In the leaves that fall, bathed in golden colours

And dew and wind

You who are in the wings of butterflies, and in the eyes of the hawks

And in my loved one’s eyes

Hear my voice, you who know how to hear the thunder

And the whispering of the breeze among the flowers

And the singing of children

Make me a believer in faith

A dweller in hope

An enthusiast for justice

A seeker of moral truth

Make me loyal to your voice

That nature echoes

One nature: divine, earthly, human.

Sal is a Canadian writer, philosopher, poet, and indie publisher, author of a thought-provoking narrative that contains mystical messages. Sal believes in miracles, which he claims have accentuated his life, so many of his stories reflect these portents. Sal sustains that we all have a message to divulge in this life. Thus, he encourages us to make our voice heard, firstly in our inner self, then on to our neighbours, and henceforward into the universe.
