On Stupidity

Human stupidity is infinite, said the wise man

As vast as the universe

A figure of speech, obviously

Notwithstanding the above, stupidity is here (always been).

It will remain with us till the end of days

Any treatise will tell us several issues conspire to the stupidity's vastness

Let's see:

Confirmation bias

Failure to recognize expertise

Ego-related issues (No one is free)

Lack of contextual understanding

Lack of critical thinking

Limited problem-solving abilities

Misconceptions

Misinformation

Overconfidence

Therefore, because we all lack or have one or all these issues, we are all stupid in the measure of our efforts.

Stupidity, some say, has its roots in ignorance

If so, the most urgent task is then to defeat ignorance

But to defeat ignorance, we must stop being stupid

Now, that's a paradox

So, because of this, we are all acting like hamsters

We are spinning our own wheels because we don't know what we are doing

Like dogs chasing their own tails, because we are playful

Like snakes eating their own tails, because we are confused predators

Moreover, we are indebted to ourselves because ignorance reigns in our lives

And thus, stupidity is sometimes celebrated

We say: We must strive to get rid of stupidity

We must stop acting stupid. Being stupid.

But it works the same way as when we want to reach perfection

Perfection begins with understanding each other

From then on, we must learn to walk together on a long, long walk

It cannot be done individually

Perfection is the result of collective effort

Therefore, to defeat stupidity, we must work collectively

We must leave no one behind

Summing up: Stupid of the world, unite!
