Like precious liquid

Spilled from a delicate glass vessel

Suddenly smashed broken

The day

Flood the roofs of the houses, and the city streets

And every window

Every window mirrors the day

And so the day expands

In silence, it expands

For the silence of the light

Is deeper than the silence of darkness

It’s a paradox, I know

We’re supposed to be awake in daytime

But most of us cling to our third dream

Sleeping we don’t hear the day’s voice

For the day has a voice
