Lesson Number 3

Dear seafarer adrift in your inner sea,

Love technology, use it, learn, and expand on it

And this is good

But do not grow too attached to it

Keep your life away from it

Give yourself a respite

From those things that trap your creativity, energy, and time

For the time is near

Rushing toward you

And you won’t be able to avoid

The screen that will enslave you

Completely, whole you

Trying to subsist in the belly of the beast

And you won’t be able to remember anything

Even your own name

For even your own name, the almighty screen will own

Your character, your mental health, your memories, your wishes, your hopes

And your life won’t be yours anymore.

So, use it, but be cautious

Keep the screen at a distance

Because once it seizes you

You won’t stand a chance.
