Thanks ChatGPT

Should we include please and thank you in our prompts to ChatGPT and other AI tools?

Since ChatGPT is a human creation and we, as humans, were told since we were little to say please and thank you, this feeling of respect and gratitude may work within the imponderable patterns and algorithms so that it might work as a "magic key" and thus, AI tools might "feel obligated" to give a better answer to a prompt, or not?

Do you think that saying please and thank you to any AI tool is a stupidity, and shows how far we are in keeping ourselves behind from the machines?

But why then, could it be a stupidity? Think of it. On the other hand, please consider that practising politeness with a machine can become even a dangerous practice, as we are "humanizing" the machine, while we, in diverse contexts, "dehumanize" humans.

What would your take be on this? Please share your thoughts with the rest of us. Thank you.
